Stage ThreeViews: 541

I didn’t realize it before but the zometa trial (stage three) is going to start much sooner than I thought, I thought it would start immediately following radiation but I found out today it will probably start the same time as radiation. My first radiation will be next Monday, I’ve had the markers put in place and will go for another dry run later this week.

I hope I don’t feel any or very slight effects of radiation, I have been feeling so good I hate the thought of that fatigue that no amount of sleep or rest seems to cure.

Well I am excited to get onto the next treatments and I am so happy to be feeling so well, I pray each of you feel well and are pain free.

Blessings.

Don’t worry about it. I found the radiation to be quite ok. I had 26 treatments and the only thing I found that helped was a rest in the afternoon, because all my appts. were in the morning thank god. I never felt woozey, or out of sorts, just a little tired but that might just be due to the travelling and the psychological factor of rays of radiation going through me. But it turned out really well. I made sure to slather the lubriderm on my breast and underarm and just took one day at a time. It seems so distant to me now since I finished my last treatment last October. I know it seems overwhelming but since you have already done chemo which is much more complicated, you will find this not so taxing. Don’t worry just try to stay in touch with all of us and we will walk you through the emotional side of life. You know you can always count on me, if you need any support. I will be there for you. Take care and good luck on the first radiation. You will find it not as you envision. Just like having a long xray. Weezie

Hi Angel,
I’m glad to hear you are feeling so much better. I can’t wait to get to that point!

What is the zometa trial that you are going to do? What is it for, etc.?

I hope the radiation isn’t too hard on you.
Keep us posted.
Hugs,
Wendy

Angel; Another quick note: Please cut paste and go to this website regarding the Zometa meds you will be taking. Yuu should know all about it before you start. More info more power
