Graduating to the Medical Oncologist!Views: 329

I had my surgery follow up appointment today the news was good, they got all of my cancer. My tumor was very small from the start 0.6 cm, triple negative, stage 1 grade 2.

So I go to the medical oncologist on June 9th to find out how many chemo treatments, how often, etc. I am anxious to get started with treatments so I can be done with them, but on the flip side I really don’t want to do them at all. But with the triple negative there is no other treatment.

After chemo I will have radiation, somewhere around 35 – 40 treatments.

The most exciting news is that in one week I can run the sweeper again! Woohooo! I have two very large very furry yellow labs and they shed everywhere, I have two adult children living with me and they help out but it’s not done the way I would do it, so I am very excited to have sweeper running priviledges again.

I feel very blessed because my cancer was caught so early, when I read some of the blogs I realize how blessed I am, I think of all of you often and include you in my prayers.
